Our Mission

The San Fernando Valley Health and Clean Air Coalition is a coalition of residents and community-based organizations advocating for the closure of Whiteman Airport. We are working toward new uses of the land to positively advance our community's health, environment, and economic opportunities - undoing a legacy of racism and environmental injustice. We envision a better future for generations to come.

SFV Health & Clean Air Coalition in Action

Los Angeles City Neighborhood Councils are being asked to deliberate on a position on Whiteman Airport. Our Coalition is here to stop disinformation about the airport and to encourage Neighborhood Councils to critically examine the health, environmental, and safety consequences of Whiteman Airport's continued operations in the Northeast Valley.
